Halloween Jack-o'-Lantern Orange Fizz for Kids
This Halloween jack-o'-lantern fizz mixes 6 oz orange juice, 2 oz pineapple juice and 4 oz sparkling water for two small alcohol-free drinks. Black paper faces on the outside of clear cups make the orange drinks look like little pumpkins. Ready in about 10 minutes.
This jack-o'-lantern orange fizz turns two clear cups into friendly pumpkins. The drink is simply orange juice, a little pineapple juice and sparkling water, so it is less concentrated than straight juice and contains no alcohol. The faces are paper shapes attached outside the cups, away from the drink.

How to make it
- An adult cuts two pairs of triangle eyes and two smiling mouths from black paper. Tape one face to the outside of each clean cup, below the rim. Keep the paper and tape out of the drink.
- Stir the orange and pineapple juices together in a small jug. Divide evenly between the two cups. Add a little ice if you like.
- Pour 2 oz sparkling water into each cup just before serving and stir once. Let children pick which pumpkin face is theirs.
Recipe notes
Keep paper and tape outside the cups and away from the drink. An adult handles scissors. This drink contains no alcohol.

Common questions
Can I use tonic water instead of sparkling water?
Use plain sparkling water. Tonic water tastes bitter and is a different ingredient.
How can I make it less sweet?
Replace the pineapple juice with 2 oz more sparkling water.
Can I make it ahead for a party?
Assemble the drinks just before the party so the bubbles last. Children can help choose the faces while an adult handles the scissors.
